Challenge
The 15 Temmuz Foundation entrusted Matsiyah with organizing a large-scale remembrance event, "Milletin Zafer Buluşması," in honor of the 15 July Martyrs. With only a short timeline to plan and execute the event, the challenge was immense. The event had to be of the highest quality, not only to reflect the solemn significance of the occasion but also to accommodate the attendance of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, high-ranking government officials, and thousands of citizens. Additionally, it needed to be broadcast live on 12 national TV channels while incorporating impactful visual elements like 30-meter Turkish and 15 July flags displayed on five of the country’s largest bridges.
Goal
Our goal was to create an event that would deeply resonate with the Turkish people, honor the memory of the martyrs, and serve as a unifying experience for the nation. We aimed to deliver a seamless, dignified event despite the tight schedule, while ensuring a powerful visual and emotional impact across all platforms—live, online, and in person. The event also included an open-air cinema and a performance by renowned musician Esat Kabaklı, all while managing the complex logistics for simultaneous national broadcasts.
Result
The "Milletin Zafer Buluşması" was a resounding success. Despite the tight timeline, Matsiyah executed a flawless event, attended by President Erdoğan and high-ranking officials. The event was broadcast live on 12 national TV channels, reaching millions of viewers. Our campaign featuring the simultaneous display of 30-meter Turkish and 15 July flags on the five largest bridges was a striking visual that captured the nation’s attention. The event concluded with an open-air cinema and a moving performance by Esat Kabaklı, creating an atmosphere of reflection and unity. Matsiyah's meticulous planning and execution ensured that the event exceeded expectations, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
